“In May 2011 the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) evaluated cancer risks from radiofrequency (RF) radiation. Human epidemiological studies gave evidence of increased risk for glioma and acoustic neuroma. RF radiation was classified as Group 2B, a possible human carcinogen. Further epidemiological, animal and mechanistic studies have strengthened the association.”

“Brain tumors on the rise in England, raising cell phone concerns
“CNN – The incidence rate of aggressive malignant brain tumors in England has more than doubled in recent decades, and a new study questions what could be driving that rise. The rate of glioblastoma climbed from 2.4 to 5.0 per 100,000 people in England between 1995 and 2015, according to the study, published Wednesday in the Journal of Environmental and Public Health. The data analyzed in the study only reflect trends in brain cancer cases and do not shed light on why these trends could have occurred, but the researchers pointed to examples of lifestyle factors that they think could have played a role. Among those factors, they briefly referenced previous studies on cell phone use possibly being associated with brain tumors and changes in the brain.”

“The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is part of the World Health Organization. One of its goals is to identify causes of cancer. IARC has stated that there is limited evidence that RF radiation causes cancer in animals and humans, and classifies RF radiation as “possibly carcinogenic to humans” (Group 2B).”

“The concern emerges from studies that have hinted at a slightly increased risk for brain cancer and tumors of the acoustic nerve and salivary gland. Others have suggested lower sperm count and sperm quality in men, and various effects on learning and memory, headaches, and sleep for both sexes.”

“SACRAMENTO – As smartphone use continues to increase in the U.S., especially among children, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) today issued guidance for individuals and families who want to decrease their exposure to the radio frequency energy emitted from cell phones. Although the scientific community has not reached a consensus on the risks of cell phone use, research suggests long-term, high use may impact human health.”

“microwaves can increase the risk of cancer and cataracts as well as reduce the nutritious value of your food. The study, carried out by Professor Magda Havas, from Trent University in Toronto, Canada, found that the quick cooking alternative leaks radiation, which can lead to a number of serious health issues.”
